EarthScience Information Systems (EScIS), the provider of industry-leading environmental data management software ESdat, today announced it has achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards for SOC for Service Organisations, also known as SSAE 18.  

Managing Director Warwick Wood has stated, Achieving SOC 2 Type II compliance in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) demonstrates our company's commitment to providing the most secure and robust system to host our ESdat Cloud. This affords our clients added assurance about the safety of their data. 

Mr Wood continued, In addition to this SOC 2 compliance, we have obtained ISO 27001 certification and an A+ rating from Astra Continuous Penetration Testing service in the past year. Our systems are supported by Microsoft Azure, which provides security monitoring through Microsoft's Sentinel and other platform monitoring services to support our system's security and functionality. Each of these elements represents the investment we continually make to ensure best practices and security of our systems for our ESdat clients.
