A quick and easy way to search environmental standards and guidelines is
now available on the ESdat Online website.
Environmental Standards are available for air, water and soil for the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Holland and from the World Health Organization.
There are a number of ways to use the search which include:
- Search for a specific Environmental Standard or a selection of Environmental Standards.
Select from the Standards drop-down menu to see a list of all values for an analyte and CAS number. Choose the Standards you would like to view.

- Search by an analyte or CAS number.
A search for an analyte shows a list of the Environmental Standards it appears in with a link to the original documentation if available.
Further information shows its value, CAS number and area: air, water, or soil.
You can order information by selecting the column title.
- Search by Environmental Standard and Analyte.
